Cookie Policy. Clear about what we set, and why.

This policy explains how cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on the Baxter Price Engine website, what each one does, how long it lasts, who it is shared with, and how you can accept, refuse or change your choice at any time.

It applies to Baxter-it.com and to any page or interactive demo served from it. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how personal data is handled.

Cookies are regulated in Ireland by the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336 of 2011), read together with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018. The supervisory authority is the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Where this policy says we, us or our, it means Baxter Solutions.

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise your device on later pages or later visits, remember settings, and measure how the site is used.

This policy also covers technologies that work in a similar way and are treated the same in law:

• Local and session storage — key/value data held by your browser for the site, used for interface state such as your cookie choice.
• Pixels and tags — small pieces of code, such as the Google tag and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, that report an action back to a third party.
• Software development kits and scripts loaded from a third-party domain that can read or write identifiers.

A first-party cookie is set by this website. A third-party cookie is set by another organisation whose code runs on a page, such as Google or LinkedIn. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser; a persistent cookie stays until it expires or you delete it.

Only strictly necessary cookies are set when you arrive. No analytics or advertising cookie is placed, and no third-party tag is loaded, until you have actively opted in.

On your first visit a consent banner appears. Its Accept all and Reject all options carry equal visual weight, and choosing Manage preferences lets you turn each non-essential category on or off individually.  Continuing to scroll, or closing the banner without choosing, is not treated as consent — nothing non-essential loads until you decide.

Access to the site is never conditional on accepting cookies. Refusing does not reduce the content available to you.

Your choice, and the date it was made, is recorded so that we can demonstrate valid consent. We ask you to confirm your preferences again at least every six months, in line with Data Protection Commission guidance.

The legal basis for strictly necessary cookies is Regulation 5(5) of S.I. 336/2011, which exempts storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. The legal basis for every other cookie is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Durations below are those set by the provider and may be shortened by your browser. Chrome caps first-party cookies at 400 days, and Safari at 7 days for script-set cookies.

Each cookie's lifespan is listed in the tables above and is set no longer than is proportionate to its function. Session cookies end when you close the browser. Persistent cookies expire on the date shown, or immediately if you delete them.

Your consent record itself expires after six months, at which point the banner is shown again so you can confirm or change your decision.

Where you consent to analytics or advertising cookies, data collected through them is processed by:

Both providers may transfer personal data to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which both Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation (LinkedIn's parent) are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary technical measures.

These providers act as independent controllers for some of this processing and set their own retention periods. Their own policies, linked above, govern that use. We do not sell your personal data.

You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Open the preference centre using the Cookie preferences link, here or in the footer of every page, and switch any category off.

Withdrawal takes effect immediately: the relevant scripts stop loading and no further data is sent. It does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew. Cookies already stored are cleared where technically possible; any that remain can be removed through your browser, as described below.

Where cookies process personal data, you have the right to:

• access the data held about you, and receive a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have data erased, and to withdraw consent at any time;
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects.

To exercise any of these, write to info@baxter-it.com. We respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR.

This policy is reviewed whenever a tracking technology is added, changed or removed, and at least once a year. The effective date at the top of the page records the current version.

Where a change materially affects what is collected or who receives it, fresh consent is requested through the banner before the change takes effect.
